Homestead (Ford EcoBoost 400) Practice #2 Results

Matt Kenseth won the pole on Friday and was atop the speed charts once again on Saturday afternoon, beating out Penske’s Joey Logano by just about 3 one-hundredths of a second. The former has one victory to his credit at Homestead-Miami Speedway and will be looking to add a second on Sunday, with the hopes of something crazy happening to the #48 team and Jimmie Johnson giving up the championship. Chances are it won’t happen but Kenseth seems in prime position to dominate this year’s Ford EcoBoost 400. Kyle Busch got into the wall during this practice session but the damage was minor. The ten-lap average chart can be found below the full speed chart.
